Flood Relief Missions

Campaign Overview
Flood Relief Missions are organized when floods hit different regions and people
suddenly find themselves cut off from normal life homes damaged, roads gone, and
basic needs becoming uncertain overnight. In those moments, the focus is simple:
reach, respond, and support. Food, clean drinking water, medicines, and dry clothes are
gathered and delivered directly to affected areas as quickly as possible, even in difficult
and unpredictable conditions where access is limited and movement becomes hard.
In Flood Relief Mission 3.0 (2024), organized and operated by Red Love Society, relief
efforts were carried out during the severe floods in Feni, Noakhali, and Cumilla districts.
The mission included both rescue operations and the distribution of essential supplies.
From the very first day of the flood, rescue teams were formed by the Cumilla district
branch to carry out emergency evacuation efforts, followed by large scale support from
both the headquarters and district teams.
Through this mission, assistance was provided to more than 600 families with dry food
and drinking water, more than 700 families received medicines, and over 300 familiesincluding women and children received essential supplies such as nappies, necessary
medicines, and basic medical support.
The relief operation remained active and continued depending on need, as long as
conditions required support on the ground. The work was divided mainly into two parts
rescue operations and distribution of food, water, and medicines, ensuring that
immediate survival needs were prioritized.
This effort reflects a simple principle: in moments of disaster, even the smallest support
becomes meaningful relief, and standing beside people during their hardest times is the
most important part of the mission.
